Why does Kyle Busch have such a chip on his shoulder?
June 20, 2008 • NASCAR News
I know Kyle races hard and he's a raw talent, but why is he more of a jerk than most drivers and doesn't have any respect for the competion or NASCAR? He doesn't seem humble or appreciative of where he is in his carreer. Big deal, you won a couple of races.

He lets his ego get in his way. At 23 he is in an excellent position to really make a name for himself. Once something happens and knocks a piece off that chip maybe then he'll grow up. He lacks maturity, has a bad attitude, basically thinks he's the sh*t.
I am not bashing him one, because I don't do that and two, he can drive a race car. He just needs to learn a few things and polish the edges a bit. It's been said several times by some of the other drivers…."you gotta have friends out there".
It's typical of most younger people today, they don't appreciate anything. They all think it's owed to them.
I truly hope that someone or something will wake him up before he wastes that talent he has. Until he is willing to realize that there are better drivers out there and learns how to play well with others nothing is going to change. :0}
